The renewal of the alpine tradition.
The soque is Aosta Valley’s traditional clog, worn by high altitude breeders since the Middle Ages.
Preserving the shoe’s authentic shape, Chicco Margaroli renewed the upper part material, replacing the leather with the suede in order to create a 3D canvas ready to be painted.
The sole - typically made of alder wood - is light, insulating and suitable for any season.
Revisited in a contemporary key, the soque represents the cornerstone of the DZOYÉ project,
a bond between fashion, art and tradition.
